The article's claim of "Israeli democracy" is utterly false. The State of Israel has "democracy by genocide". There are 12 million Palestinians but of these only adults of 1.5 million Palestinian Israelis are permitted to vote for the government ruling all of the former Palestine Mandate plus an ethnically cleansed slab of Syria and then only as Third Class citizens subject to Nazi-style race laws. 6 million Palestinians are not even allowed to live in the former Palestinian Mandate, 1.6 million Occupied Palestinians (half of them children) are highly abusively imprisoned in the Catholic Church has described as Israel's Gaza Concentration Camp and 2.7 million Occupied Palestinians are abusively confined under military rule to ever-dwindling mini-Bantustans in the West Bank under Occupier guns.
These British Zionists calling for "conversation" just don't get it. For anti-racist Jews and indeed all anti-racists there is nothing to discuss - racism is obscene and evil, whether in Nazi Germany, the former US Deep South, Apartheid South Africa or what Jewish and non-Jews heroes in the fight against South African Apartheid refer to as Apartheid Israel (for such opinions from outstanding anti-racists Google "Boycott Apartheid Israel" and "Palestinian Genocide").
For anti-racist Jews and indeed all anti-racist humanitarians the core moral messages from the Jewish Holocaust (5-6 million dead, 1 in 6 dying from deprivation) and from the more general WW2 European Holocaust (30 million Slav, Jewish and Gypsy dead) are “zero tolerance for racism”, “never again to anyone”, “bear witness” and “zero tolerance for lying”.
However these sacred injunctions are grossly violated by the anti-Arab anti-Semitic racist Zionists running Apartheid Israel and their Western backers variously involved in the ongoing, Zionist- and pro-Zionist-backed Palestinian Genocide, Iraqi Genocide, Somali Genocide, and Afghan Genocide (post-invasion violent and non-violent excess deaths 2.0 million (1936-2012), 4.6 million (1990-2011), 2.2 million (1992-2012) and 5.6 million (2001-2012), respectively, and refugees totalling 7 million, 5-6 million, 2 million and 3-4 million, respectively).
Zionism is obscenely racist in theory and in genocidal practice and is accordingly resolutely opposed by all decent anti-racist Jews and indeed by all decent anti-racist folk. The racist Zionists are utterly beyond the Pale and should be sidelined in public life as have been like racists such as the Nazis, neo-Nazis, Apartheiders and KKK.
The racist Zionists and their racist neocon supporters compound their virulent, genocidal anti-Arab anti-Semitism by appalling anti-Jewish anti-Semitism through falsely conflating Apartheid Israel's genocidal crimes with all Jews and thus grossly defaming a huge body of decent anti-racist Jews.
