Report: "

Kevin Rudd’s dramatic decision to resign in the early hours of the morning in Washington has caught Prime Minister Julia Gillard on the hop. In response, Prime Minister Gillard has issued a brief statement expressing “disappointment” that Kevin Rudd never personally raised his concerns with her, and promising to address a press conference tomorrow.

I posted the following comment about the article on The Conversation (links edited):

"The FOREIGN dimension of the battle is missing from the public discussion. I sent the following personalized letter to Labor, Green and other MPs as well as to media:

"Dear etc,

Why US-, Zionist- and foreign corporation-backed PM Julia Gillard must go: 66,000 preventable Australian deaths annually.

The bottom-line criterion for government legitimacy is the health and safety of its citizens but each year 66,000 Australians die preventably, the categories including hospital adverse events (18,000), smoking (15,500), carbon-burning pollution-derived deaths (10,000), Indigenous Australian avoidable deaths (9,000), obesity-related deaths (6,000), alcohol-related deaths (3,000), suicides (2,100), road deaths (1,400), opiate drug-related deaths due to US Alliance restoration of the Taliban-destroyed Afghan opium industry (360) and homicides (300, with about 40% of victims being female).

In June 2010 popularly elected Australian PM Kevin Rudd was deposed in a US-, Zionist- and foreign mining company-backed Coup that was led by the extreme pro-Zionist faction of Labor. Outstanding Australian journalist John Pilger has reported the WikiLeaks-revealed US hostility to Rudd’s reservations about the Afghan War. Outstanding Jewish Australian writer Antony Loewenstein has described the Zionist role in Rudd’s downfall in “Does the Zionist Lobby have blood on its hands in Australia?” The largely foreign mining companies spent $23 million in 2010 opposing the Mining Tax.

66,000 preventable Australian deaths annually means that pro-coal, pro-gas, anti-environment, pro-war, pro-Zionist and slavishly pro-US PM Julia Gillard must go.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Gideon Polya (contact details).

PS. For documented details Google ""66,000 preventable Australian deaths"".

PPS. Australia’s most eminent and famous Jewish figure, Sir Isaac Isaacs, the first Australian-born Governor General of Australia, stated (1946): “The honour of Jews throughout the world demands the renunciation of political Zionism”. Google “Jews Against Racist Zionism” for similar views of outstanding anti-racist Jews against racist Zionism, an Apartheid Israel and the Palestinian Genocide (0.1 million violent Palestinian deaths and 1.9 Palestinian avoidable deaths from war-, expulsion and occupation-derived deprivation since 1936; 7 million Palestinian refugees; 0.8 million Palestinian children abusively confined in what the Catholic Church has described as the Gaza Concentration Camp; 4.3 million Occupied Palestinians with essentially no human rights under highly abusive military rule; out of 12 million Palestinians only about half are permitted to live in their own country and only the adults of 1.5 million Palestinian Israelis are permitted to vote for the government ruling all of Palestine, albeit as Third Class citizens under race-based laws)."
